Questions, press and reports of use

Email contact@michiyomi.dev. Reports of how you have used the data are welcome at the same address.

Removal requests

For a nameplate, vehicle plate, person's image or other listing, email contact@michiyomi.dev with the image ID or URL and what you want removed.

After review, the affected listing is removed from production search and delivery. Original photos are hosted by Mapillary; removal of the photo itself is handled there.

Keeping it available

Published data is fixed by release number. Changes are announced in the homepage news. Versions are kept on Hugging Face, whose update time may differ from the API.

If the service ends, the Hugging Face versions will remain and the API will close after advance notice. There is no service-level agreement (SLA).

Using the data

The data and service are provided as is. Descriptions are AI estimates of the scene in the capture year, not measurements or a guarantee of current conditions. Do not use them as the sole basis for safety or financial decisions.

See the accuracy check for evidence: a separate AI compared readings against photos.

Use it to narrow candidates or understand trends. Check the photo or the site before making an individual decision.

Commercial and business use

Commercial and business use is allowed. Photos and observation data have different conditions; follow the sources and licenses.

For the press

Release 2026-09-13-r2 covers all of Tokyo: 1,914,490 photos, 8,297 street and town-block kartes (text summaries of photo readings), and 3,618 changes over time.

When showing the screen, follow the licenses: photos are the photographers' CC BY-SA 4.0; observation data is CC BY 4.0. See sources and licenses for attribution and credits.
